ANFO

Acronym for Ammonium Nitrate Fuel Oil. Refers to the mixture of ammonium nitrate (fertilizer) and fuel oil (diesel) that can be detonated to create a devastating explosion. This material was used in the Oklahoma City bombing in April, 1995. Nitro Methane is sometimes used instead of fuel oil.
