Suicide bomber who attempted to assassinate Saudi Prince Mohammed bin Nayef on August 28, 2009. This is the first documented case where a suicide bomber used an explosive device inserted in his rectum. The attempt failed since al-Asiri's body absorbed the blast, killing only the himself. The Prince survived the attack with minor injuries.
